Aurelia Rosewood-Holloway is a flashback recurring character in Season One & Season Two of The Vampire Diaries. She also made a appearance in Season Six. She was born in Mystic Falls in 1842 by two unknown rosewoods. She was a powerful witch in her youth, and when she became an adult. She met Damon Salvatore in 1860, they fell in love and soon got engaged but Aurelia's father declined this marriage, and arranged a marriage for Aurelia and William Holloway to marry instead, but secretly Aurelia's was pregnant with Damon's child, Charlotte Holloway.
Aurelia is a member of the Rosewood Family. She has ties with the Salvatore Family via her daughter, Charlotte and as well as the Holloway Family via her marriage to William.
