Christopher ''Chris'' Malachai Rosewood is one of the main character in Legacies and a major recurring character in The Vampire Diaries. Christopher is the hybrid son of Margaret Rosewood and and Malachai Parker. He is the younger twin brother of Madeline Rosewood, and the younger half-brother of Hayden, Henry, and Violet Madsen. He is the grandson of Gwendolyn and George Rosewood, as well as Joshua Parker and Mrs. Parker. He is the nephew of Alexander, Eleanor, and Victor as well as Josette Laughlin, 3 unnamed Parker siblings, Olivia and Luke Parker. He is also married to Claudia Claire.

Christopher is the father of Lincoln Rosewood and Nicholas Rosewood, the heretics that he had with the witch, Claudia Claire.

He was named Christopher by his mother. His middle name is Malachai after his father, which Margaret agreed to do. He takes the surname of his mother side.
