Jacob Christopher Fogerty is a character created by JL the Superhuman.
Jacob is first introduced in The Fogerty Diaries as a member of the Mystic Falls Gang
Jacob is a member of the Fogerty Family and the Fell Family. He is also a member of the Gilbert Family, the Petrova Family, the Mikaelson Family and Saltzman Family through his marriage to Elena Gilbert and various family members.

Jacob is a very handsome man that is around 6 feet (1.83 meters) tall, making him taller than his wife, Elena and his friends Caroline Forbes and Bonnie Bennett.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Super Strength: Being from a long line of supernatural humans, Jacob was gifted superhuman strength.
- Super Agility: Jacob is able to leap off high areas and manage to survive without out breaking any bones or killing himself in the process. One of example is when he leaps out of a window inside the high school.
- Accelerated Healing: Jacob is able to heal faster than a normal human with the exception of broken bones. This ability is enhanced when he becomes a vampire.

Although Jacob is a supernatural human, he still has weaknesses to that of a normal human and a witch.

 Elena is Jacob's girlfriend and later his wife. Jacob met Elena during a school function at Mystic Falls Elementary School which was not that long after meeting Caroline and Bonnie. Coincidentally, Elena is the other best friend of his two best friends, Caroline and Bonnie. At the beginning of the series, Elena and Jacob are established longtime best friends and romantically love one another, though as far as people know; the other doesn't know of the feelings. Bonnie is one of Jacob's best friends; the other is his girlfriend, and later wife, Elena. Jacob met Bonnie around the same time he met Elena, back when he and Elena were seven and Bonnie was six. They have been best friends ever since. Jacob and Bonnie have saved each other's lives countless times throughout the series and have remained in contact after Bonnie left Mystic Falls.
After Jacob married Elena, the two had a daughter named Bonnie Fogerty; who they named in honor of their best friend Bonnie.

Hayley and Jacob have been best friends since Hayley was eight and Jacob was seven, and have a powerful bond. In The Originals, Jacob pays a visit to Hayley in New Orleans while she's still pregnant with her and Klaus's daughter.

Throughout The Fogerty Diaries, Jacob has had a burning desire for revenge against Klaus for killing Jenna, one of his close friends and aunt of his future wife, Elena. After the birth of Hope, Klaus and Jacob put aside their differences and become a true family. It was eventually discovered that Klaus agreed with Hayley to make Jacob, Hope's godfather.
