Lyla Evangeline Montgomery (real name Eloise Rosewood) is one of the main characters in The Vampire Diaries, and she was a recurring character in The Originals. Lyla is a powerful witch from the Rosewood Bloodline. She is the younger sister of Amara Montgomery as well as the younger adoptive sister of Caleb Montgomery and the older adoptive sister of Rose-Mary Montgomery. She was adopted into the Montgomery Family and learned to hunt vampires from a young age.
Lyla when she was younger, she could sense when vampires was near, that how she met her biological distant ancestor, Margaret Rosewood for the first time. Lyla is the mother of Hayden and Owen Gilbert, the sons she had with Jeremy Gilbert.
Lyla is a member of the Montgomery Family and the Rosewood Family. She is a member of the Mikaelson Family via Faith and as well as the Gilbert Family via her marriage and children.
