Madeline "Madi" Alexandria Rosewood is one of the main characters in Legacies and a major recurring character in The Vampire Diaries. Madeline is the hybrid daughter of Margaret Rosewood and Malachai Parker. She is the older twin sister of Christopher Rosewood, and the younger half-sister of Hayden, Henry and Violet Madsen. She is the granddaughter of Gwendolyn and George Rosewood, as well as Joshua Parker and Mrs. Parker. She is the niece of Alexander, Eleanor, and Victor as well as Josette Laughlin, 3 Unnamed Parker siblings, Olivia and Lucas Parker. She is also the wife of Matthew Lockwood.

Madeline is the mother of Daisy Lockwood that she had with the werewolf, Matthew Lockwood.

She was named Madeline by her mother. Her middle name is alter version of her uncle, Alexander Rosewood and she takes the surname of her mother side.

Madeline is a member of the Rosewood Family and the Parker Family. Madeline is by birthright a member of the Gemini Coven. Madeline is also a member of the Lockwood Family via her marriage.
