Penelope ''Penny'' Mikaelson (nee Labrant) was a main character in The Originals and was a former main character in The Vampire Diaries. She was first introduced in The Vampire Diaries as Skye annoying little sister who just started using her witch abilities and who later was turn into a Hybrid in The Originals. She was described as "gorgeous, but tough as nails and also very protective".
Penelope was the mother of the first naturally born tribrid, Alex Mikaelson, the son she had with the Original Hybrid, Niklaus Mikaelson her husband.
Penelope is a member of the Labrant Family, the Price Family, she also has ties with the Mikaelson Family via her marriage and son, and the North East Atlantic Pack via her daughter and husband.
